Day One: ArrivalFlights to Lima will likely arrive in the late evening/early night. Relax with a convenient pick-up and transfer to your hotel and get some well needed rest for your exciting adventure tomorrow!

Day Two: Orientation and Food Tasting TourAt 8:30 am we meet in the lobby for Orientation and to greet our amazing group! After this, we go on a brief walk to explore the city together. 10:45 am we will Dive into the essence of Peruvian culture with an engaging food tour that's all about authentic flavors and local traditions. This is a unique opportunity to learn about Peru's rich biodiversity through a hands-on workshop. You'll get to know the native ingredients that are the heart of Peruvian dishes Following this, indulge in a tasting of Peru's finest chocolates, each one revealing the depth of the country's chocolate-making traditions. The evening wraps up with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel, leaving you with a deeper understanding of Peru's culinary richness and a night to remember. Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch

Day Three: Lima to Sacred Valley AdventureKick off your Peruvian adventure with a short flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, we’ll set off to the iconic Sacred Valley. Your first visit will be to the Pisac market. Here, you'll find a wide array of locally made souvenirs. If you’re up for it there's the option to climb to the archaeological site of Pisac, where you can admire ancient terraces, aqueducts, water channels, and enjoy beautiful views. Next, the tour will take you to Hacienda Sarapampa, a local farm where all products are grown in their gardens and by local farmers, ensuring a truly fresh and delicious lunch 4-course lunch. After an unforgettable culinary experience, you'll be transferred back to your hotel, where you have the evening free to rest or explore at your own pace. Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch

Day Four: Explore Local Life in the Lamay MountainsYou will visit one of the communities in the Lamay Mountains and learn about local life and customs, as well as contribute to the sustainable development of the community. You get the unique experience to help with an agricultural task and learn about the different varieties of native plants and crops and about the traditional tools and techniques in practice. After the activity you will have a freshly prepared lunch, based on the products that the community produces. In the afternoon, the women of the community will share with you the whole process of textile art, very important in their family dynamics, and you will talk with them about their customs and their role in the field. In the afternoon you will return to Lamay to go back to your hotel. Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch

Day Five: Ancient Maras and MorayFrom Lamay, venture to the ancient Maras salt mines, where thousands of terraced pools cascade down the valley, a testament to Incan innovation. Next, explore the intriguing circular terraces of Moray, believed to be an Incan agricultural laboratory. Afterward, indulge in a traditional Pachamanca lunch, an ancient cooking technique where food is prepared underground with hot stones, offering a unique taste of the Andean cuisine. Conclude your day with a journey to Aguas Calientes, situated at 2,040 meters above sea level, the gateway to the majestic Machu Picchu. Day Six: The Iconic Machu PicchuFrom Aguas Calientes you will take the bus to Machu Picchu, early in the morning. Often referred as "The Lost City of the Incas", Machu Picchu is one of the most famous and spectacular sets of ruins in the world. It is located at 2,430 meters above the Urubamba river. Day Seven: Cooking and Exploring in CuscoYour day begins with a vibrant walking tour of Cusco's historic heart, uncovering the mysteries of the Qenqo archaeological site and the storied walls of Sacsayhuamán. Stroll through the charming San Blas neighborhood and conclude your cultural exploration with a visit to the revered Temple of the Sun. Afterward, immerse yourself in the flavors of Peru with a cooking class under the guidance of a local chef, where you'll prepare and savor traditional dishes. As your culinary journey ends, our driver will be ready to take you and your luggage directly to the airport for your quick flight to Lima. As you touch down in Lima, our warm welcome continues. You'll be greeted by our driver who will ensure a comfortable transfer from the airport to your hotel. The evening is yours to relax or explore the vibrant city at your leisure. Day Eight: Lima Transfer to AirportAs your adventure in Peru draws to a close, we have organized your transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, ensuring a smooth end to your journey. Your driver will greet you in the hotel lobby at a pre-arranged time and provide a comfortable ride to the airport. Please be advised, this transfer service is coordinated based on the collective departure time of travelers with the same flight schedule. Should your departure time be different, please be aware that additional transfers will incur separate charges. We recommend planning to ensure a stress-free journey to the airport. Flight times of other attendees will be coordinated as best as possible through WhatsApp as people register for the trip.
Booking in advance is highly recommended, as only 12 spots are available, and the trip filling up fast!
Payment:
A pre-payment of 40% of the land-based package is requested to confirm the reservation. On top of that, the costs for the Intercountry flight(s) should be paid 100% in advance, upon confirmation of your reservation (without this prepayment we can not proceed with the booking of your flight(s)). You can of course also book the domestic flight(s) on your own; in this case the prepayment for flights does not apply. Please note that we can´t assist with any issues concerning flights that haven´t been booked by us.
At least 45 days before arrival (Aug 13th 2024), , we ask you to pay the rest of the total amount. Please note that the USD price prevails; if the exchange rate to your preferred currency has changed, your outstanding payment will also change. If you’re booking your trip 40 days or less in advance, we ask you to pay the full amount upon confirmation.

Cancellation policy
In case you would have to cancel the reservation, we unfortunately need to charge you costs which we can not get back. These include administrative and personnel costs to administer cancellations. We ask you for your understanding. These are the conditions:

By canceling your trip 31 days or more before arrival: A charge of 10% of the total amount (excluding flight(s)). If flight(s) have been booked through us, we can proceed with the cancellation according to the conditions of the Airline or postpone them free of charge in most cases within the limits of the airline’s conditions. Additional charges may apply when you have to change the date. This is out of our control. Please note: in case of a refund, an administrative fee for bank costs will apply.
